On Tuesday 25th February our Harvey Cup team played Chislehurst and maintained its 100% record with a 4 - 2 win.  Gary Sharp and Lee Brockwell both won a piece early on and cruised to victory and when Keith Thompson won a piece and converted the match was effectively over.  David Gilbert had reached a rook ending a pawn up and had his draw offer accepted, while Ken Smith had reached a drawn queen and pawns ending. Dave Helps blundered a pawn for no compensation against a stronger player early on and despite a sterling effort could not hold the position.
