Sidcup have entered two teams in the Kent Summer Quickplay Tournament. This is a four-player a side team handicap tournament, where the weaker player gets more time to think than the stronger player.

The team captained by Greg Edwards have played Lewisham and were behind at the halfway point, but then ran away to a 10-6 victory.

The team captained by Lee Brockwell lost to a strong Beckenham side, but then beat Medway Juniors, also by 10-6.
