By beating Petts Wood 4.5 - 1.5 our Stevenson Cup side went top of its league with a 100% record. Mohammed Ali, Ian McAllan, Tony Packham and Boye Sodeke all won and James Wagstaff drew.

This followed a 4.5 - 1.5 victory over Gravesend eight days previously in which James Wagstaff, Boye Sodeke and Lee Brockwell won and Mohammed Ali, Greg Edwards and Ian McAllan drew.
